La Casa di Paolo – Storia2018-10-13T18:40:04+00:00

La Casa di Paolo is a grand but intimate boutique hotel in pure Mediterranean style. The recent renovation has restored its old image: the luxurious rooms arranged across two floors, are designed and furnished in an original style with floors are made from precious maiolica vietrese. The rooms are equipped with air conditioning, 40″ 4K LCD TV, telephone, wi-fi, safe, minibar, Nespresso coffee machine, kettle, and courtesy line. Linen is changed daily. Everything is included in the value of your holiday. There are private bathrooms with hand-decorated Vietri ceramics and a large shower with hydromassage and chromotherapy.
Sommier Simmons beds guarantee a good night’s sleep.

La Casa di Paolo is only 40m from the promenade and about 80m from the port and the town center, the perfect distance to guarantee you privacy even during high season. The beaches of the bay in the front of the house can be reached on foot or by car in just a few minutes.

All the beaches, including those on the west side, farthest from town, have access to restaurants and parking. At our guests’ request, it is possible to make arrangements with Lido, organize excursions, rent bicycles/cars, and take boat trips with visits to the nearby caves, some of which were inhabited in prehistoric times and today are Unesco sites.

Boat trips also sail up to the natural port of Infreschi, passing Cala Bianca – the eighth most beautiful beach in Italy, according to Tripadivisor – and Pozzallo, both wild inlets of rare beauty.

The mini sailing cruise in the heart of the protected marine area of Infreschi and Masseta, is a great attraction.

Our guests can fully experience the surrounding environment through a variety of activities, including diving with guides and FIAS instructors, climbing, trekking and horseback riding in the National Park of Cilento, Alburni and Vallo di Diano, which has been a World Heritage and Unesco Site (with the archaeological sites of Paestum and Velia and Certosa di Padula) since 1988, a Biosphere Reserve since 1997, and a Geopark – Italy’s first – since 2010.

A wide variety of events appealing to even the most diverse tastes including sport, culture, and craftsmanship, as well as an array of food festivals and parties, are planned in the summer calendar of Marina di Camerota and Policastro Gulf. Guests can enjoy the food and wine from Cilento or simply relax by the seaside, in an area rich in history and charm.

Staying at Casa di Paolo will allow you to visit the coast and the hinterland, the historical centers of the hilltop villages, white churches with small sailing-bell towers, monumental palaces, quiet alleys and narrow nostalgic streets.
